Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026. This notice describes MomentRescue’s limited public test.

What we process

We process the two photos you upload, your selected faces, and a restored result to provide the requested edit. Face detection runs on our backend. We do not create accounts, face-identity profiles, or a photo history.

Where your photos go

The full uploads reach our backend for decoding, face detection, and local compositing. Only cropped areas around the selected target and reference faces are sent to fal.ai and its model processing infrastructure. Crops may include nearby people or background. We do not send the full group photo as a model input unless the selected face crop itself fills the photo.

Retention and deletion

Uploads and final images are held for the active request. Temporary local reference files are deleted when processing ends, including failures. A cleanup task removes any crash leftovers within 24 hours. Your browser keeps previews while the page is open; download your result before leaving.

We request that fal.ai not persist request payloads and that generated media expire after one hour. Provider media delivery and security, legal, or infrastructure records are subject to provider controls; these requests are not a guarantee about every provider system. Provider-generated crops may be available through temporary URLs. Read fal.ai’s Privacy Policy and data retention documentation.

Operational data and analytics

Our backend temporarily keeps IP addresses and request timestamps in memory for abuse prevention, for up to one hour. Hosting providers may maintain their own operational logs. We do not log image contents, image base64, or face coordinates. Optional product analytics are disabled by default; any enabled analytics should receive only event names, never photos or filenames.

Your choices

Only upload photos you are authorized to edit, with the permission of the people involved. You can leave without starting restoration. Once a request starts, processing may finish even if you close the page. We do not use uploads to train our own models.
